The Vanished Children's Alliance (VCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed in 1980 to address the growing need for victim parents to obtain credible, effective and compassionate assistance in the location and recovery of their missing, runaway and abducted children.
VCA's casework department provides active case management, poster dissemination, search assistance and emotional support for families of missing children. Caseworkers act as liaisons between searching families and law enforcement and also staff our 24-hour, toll-free sighting hotline (1-800-VANISHED.)
The Outreach department provides child abduction prevention presentations to children, adults, teachers and law enforcement along with on and off site digital fingerprinting and safety literature for children.
The Vanished Children's Alliance has assisted in more than 35,000 cases of missing and abducted children since 1980. All of our services are free of charge, as we are dedicated to keeping children safe and bringing missing
children home.
